One Hubby

As someone who is incredibly sensitive to smells, textures, and even light, I’ve always walked with a certain caution. Scents, in particular, have a profound effect on me. I never travel without a small scarf infused with a familiar I press to my face when I pass through overwhelming spaces like duty-free shops. Most perfumes are too strong for me… too aggressive… they make my head spin rather than soothe my senses.
And yet, something unexpected happened at the Light Upon Light event.
A kind and smiling brother from Oud Library gently handed me a scent strip. I hesitated as oud can be so intense. But out of courtesy, I took it. What I didn’t expect was to be completely captivated by it.
That night, something shifted. I found myself returning again and again to the scent, like a magnet. It wasn’t just pleasant… it was transporting. It was as if this oud carried whispers of something sacred: It reminded me of Mecca, not just its scent, but its feeling… a perfume that stirs not only the senses, but the soul.
When I got home, I placed the scent strip in my dress closet. For weeks, every time I opened that door, I was greeted by that gentle, deep aroma, never aggressive, always warm and grounding.
And because I’ve become a minimalist and a more thoughtful buyer, I no longer purchase by impulse. I let things sit. I give them time. I told myself: if in a month, this scent still lingers in my heart, then it’s meant for me.
One month later, I placed my order.
I even placed a little on my prayer mat… and days later, the scent is still there, like a spiritual echo. It stays on your clothes, your skin, your soul. It’s not just a perfume, it’s an experience, a presence.
Oud Library is truly special. From the brother at the stall, to the sister I spoke with through their website, to the person I exchanged emails with, each interaction was filled with kindness, patience, and genuine warmth. It’s rare to feel so seen as a customer.

Beautiful fragrance and lasted such a long time

Amazing service by Lina will definitely come back again. One of the best perfumes out there for sure 100%. Will spread the word of this stand to people wonderful worker in general.

Best perfume ever, the only the that i can change is the way it come out a spat. Other than that is my special occasion perfume.

I felt misled! I was walking around Westfield Stratford when a marketing lady gave me a sample of a perfume that smelled amazing. After a few days, it still had a lovely scent, so I decided to buy the perfume. It arrived today, 10/10/2025, but unfortunately, it lasts less than an hour. Honestly, I will be asking for a full refund because this experience was disappointing and dishonest towards a potential future customer.
